TESTIMONIALS

“Phil has been teaching our son Luke (then 10 years old) since the start of 2018. Luke loves his lessons with Phil and has developed his skills quickly to Grade 3 level and beyond. From reading music, to rudiments, to working through his favourite tracks, to finding the groove and playing to time with the metronome. Phil is always on time, always well prepared, gives clear instruction, good homework etc. and makes Luke's lessons so much fun. A great guy and teacher - 100% recommended”

“Only had two sessions with Phil so far but we have learned so much! He is absolutely brilliant and has adapted to our style as we are a marching band. We have learned a new piece and improved on our current technique and we can't wait for our next session! I would definitely recommend Phil, whether you are a beginner or experienced drummer you'll not be disappointed”

“My Daughter has been having lessons for with Phil for a while and she is thriving in her lessons. She loves music and enjoys picking out songs and working out how to play along to them. She is learning how to pick out a beat and follow it. Phil allows her to be herself and often takes her lead on allowing her to be creative. I would recommend lessons from Phil to anyone with an interest in drumming.”

“Kora loves her drum lessons and is making great progress not only playing the drums but writing her own music with the help of Phil. Phil make lessons fun and friendly and often talked about how he learned the drums as a child. This helps Kora see it is possible to achieve.”
